Set after nightfall, Field of Screams transforms a beloved adventure park into something altogether different — a sprawling, open-air Halloween terror show with six nightmare-inducing haunted houses spread across the property, each one its own descent into horror.
There's something about the outdoor setting that changes everything. The darkness is deeper. The sounds carry further. The moments between attractions, those stretches of open ground between lit doorways are a genre of dread all their own. And somewhere out there in those 20 acres, something is waiting.
Between haunted houses, there are rides, carnival-style activities, food and drinks, and the kind of atmosphere that makes the whole night feel like Halloween at its most alive. The park's animals are also part of the evening. Though note that animal areas close at 8pm, so come early if you want to catch them before the real scares begin.
